DSP BlackRock Dual Advantage Fund-Series 1-10 files offer document with Sebi
Close Ended Income Schemes
DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund has filed offer document with Sebi to launch DSP BlackRock Dual Advantage Fund-Series 1-10, close ended income schemes. The New Fund Offer price is Rs 10 per unit.
Investment objective: The primary investment objective of the schemes is to seek to generate returns and capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio of debt and money market securities. The scheme also aims to enhance the return by taking exposure in a portfolio of equity & equity related instruments. As far as investments in debt and money market securities are concerned, the scheme will invest only in such securities which mature on or before the date of maturity of the Schemes.

Minimum Application Amount: Rs.5,000 and in multiples of Re. 1 thereafter.
MinimumTarget Amount: Rs. 25 crore in each of the schemes during the NFO period.
Asset Allocation:
(1) Schemes with Tenure of 12 months: The scheme shall invest 90%-100% in debt and money market securities and upto 10% in equity and equity related instruments.
(2) Schemes with Tenure greater than 12 months and less than or equal to 24 months: The scheme shall invest 80%-100% in debt and money market securities and upto 20% in equity and equity related instruments.
(3) Schemes with Tenure greater than 24 months and less than or equal to 36 months: The scheme shall invest 75%-100% in debt and money market securities and upto 25% in equity and equity related instruments.
(4) Schemes with Tenure greater than 36 months: The scheme shall invest 65%-100% in debt and money market securities and upto 35% in equity and equity related instruments.
Debt Securities may include securitized debt instruments upto 50% of the net assets. The allocation to money market securities/instruments can go upto 100% of the net assets in situations when the investment manager is not able to source the required debt securities. This increased allocation will purely in defensive considerations and will be in the best interest of the unit holders. The cumulative gross exposure through equity, debt and derivative positions will not exceed 100% of the net assets of the scheme.
