DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund has declared a dividend of 9.19% per unit of face value of Rs 10 per unit, under the dividend option of the DSP BlackRock Bond Fund.

The fund house has fixed 26 December 2008, as the record date for the payment of dividend.

All unit holders registered on or before the record date would be eligible to receive the dividend. The NAV of the scheme stood at Rs 11.85 per unit, as on 19 December 2008.

The DSP Merrill Lynch Bond Fund is an open-ended income scheme seeking to generate an attractive return, consistent with prudent risk, from a portfolio which is substantially constituted of high quality debt securities of issuers domiciled in India. Seeking to generate capital appreciation is a secondary objective.
