DSPML MF plans to change its name

The new name will be DSP BlackRock MF

The investment management business of Merrill Lynch and BlackRock Inc. merged globally. As a consequence of this an agreement was entered between DSP Merrill Lynch, one of the sponsors of the fund and BlackRock Advisors Singapore.

Pursuant to this agreement, following changes will take effect:

1. Shareholding of the AMC

Current: 40% of the shareholding is held by DSPML. The balance 60% of the shareholding is held by DSP ADIKO Holdings Pvt. Ltd., DSP HMK Holdings Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Hemendra Kothari.

Proposed: 40% of the shareholding will be held by BlackRock Advisors Singapore. The balance 60% of the shareholding will continue to be held by DSP ADIKO Holdings Pvt. Ltd., DSP HMK Holdings Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Hemendra Kothari.

2. Shareholding of the trustee company

Current: 49% of the shareholding is held by DSPML. The balance 51% of the shareholding is held by Mr. Hemendra Kothari.

Proposed: 49% of the shareholding will be held by BlackRock Advisors Singapore. The balance 51% of the shareholding will continue to be held by Mr. Hemendra Kothari.

3. Sponsors of the Fund

Current: a) DSPML b) DSP ADIKO Holdings Pvt. Ltd., DSP HMK Holdings Pvt. Ltd. (collectively)

Proposed: a) BlackRock b) no change

4. Name of the AMC

Current: DSP Merrill Lynch Fund Managers Ltd.

Proposed: DSP BlackRock Investment Managers Ltd.

5. Name of the Trustee:

Current: DSP Merrill Lynch Trustee Company Pvt. Ltd.

Proposed: DSP BlackRock Trustee Company Pvt. Ltd.

6. Name of the Fund:

Current: DSP Merrill Lynch Mutual Fund

Proposed: DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund

7. Names of the schemes of the Fund:

Current: The names begin with DSP Merrill Lynch or DSPML

Proposed: The names will begin with DSP BlackRock or DSPBR
