Mutual funds have bought stocks worth a net Rs 946.83 crore on 17 October 2017, compared with net inflow of Rs 283.97 crore on 16 October 2017. The net inflow of Rs 946.83 crore on 17 October 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 2554.30 crore and gross sales of Rs 1607.47 crore. On that day, the Sensex had fallen 24.48 points or 0.08% to settle at 32,609.16, its lowest closing level since 13 October 2017.

Mutual funds have purchased shares worth a net Rs 6412.64 crore in October 2017 so far (till 17 October 2017). They had bought shares worth a net Rs 17456.84 crore in September 2017.
