Mutual funds purchased shares worth a net Rs 504.40 crore on 11 February 2016, higher than net inflow of Rs 379.70 crore during the preceding trading session on 10 February 2016. The net inflow of Rs 504.40 crore on 11 February 2016 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 1479.70 crore and gross sales of Rs 975.30 crore. On that day, the Sensex plunged 807.07 points or 3.4% to settle at 22,951.83.

Mutual funds have bought shares worth a net Rs 910.80 crore in this month so far (till 11 February 2016). They had purchased shares worth a net Rs 7327.80 crore last month.
