| Seasonally and price-adjusted new factory orders in Germany rose 0.9% in February compared to the previous month, the country's Federal Statistical Office Destatis said in a report published on Wednesday.
Foreign orders were up 4.7% compared to January, with new orders from the Eurozone increasing by 6.7% and orders from other countries rising by 3.5% month on month. Domestic orders fell by 4.4%. Order intake for capital goods were 0.2% up, orders for intermediate goods grew by 1.4%, while consumer goods orders were up 4.5%.
On an annual basis, calendar-adjusted new factory orders climbed 3.5%. |
