| 27 Mar 2026 14:29 | | WTI Crude soars as break above $90 per barrel sustains | | | WTI Crude oil futures raced higher as a break above $90 per barrel stayed in place. The US-Israel-Iran war is set to enter its fifth week and there is still ambiguity about the near-term direction the conflict will take. WTI Crude is currently trading at $96 per barrel, up 1.52% on the day. The counter had soared more than 4.50% in last session though it is still down around 2% for this week. Oil remains focussed on war-driven disruption around the Strait of Hormuz. While the White House said peace talks were continuing, Tehran rejected US proposals and put forward its own conditions.
