The metal is up 2.10% at $6.13 per pound and has soared around 3.50% this month. The current levels are highest in last four-weeks. MCX Copper is trading at Rs 1224.75 per kg, up 1.45% on the day. Meanwhile, in Asia today, China's Shanghai Composite index added 0.39%. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index surged 0.95% while Japan’s Nikkei average edged up 0.16% to hit another record high. European stocks moved up modestly.
